Searching for family information on Thomas & Alice (Merrifield) Green who were in Wayne County by 1808. Their daughter, Comfort, was married to Lyman Chase. She was b. 1800 & d. 1829. Thomas Green d. June 10, 1808; age 32yr, 3m, 25d. I'm wondering if this is the "man named Green" who was killed by a falling tree at about this time?
I believe that Thomas & Alice may have had a son named Esick born in January, 1808. Alice died Jan 22, 1838; age 56y, 3m.
I would greatly appreciate any information regarding this family.
