Israel Owen and Hannah Avery in Wayne County

I am looking for information concerning IsraelOwen and Hannah Avery who lived in Sodus, Wayne County in both the 1810 and 1820 census'. They have a total of 9 children, the first seven of which were girls. Eventually they moved on to Monroe County Michigan where Israel died intestate in 1836. Also Israel bought land in Michigan territory in 1835 stating he was a resident of Wayne County, New York
I only received Hannah Avery's name recently when I discovered their daughter Harriet Owen Batty's Michigan death certificate giving me the name Avery for Hannah and a birth location of Connecticut. They may or may not have been married, as Israel is reported to have married in Canada previously, leaving a wife and three children to return to the United States where he lived with 'another woman.'
I do know that there were two Avery families living near them, Amos Avery and Daniel Avery. Amos appears to be old enough to have had a child in 1781 which is the date believed to be Hannah's birthdate, figured from the 1850 Michigan census where she is found living with her daughter Elizabeth Owen Durrin.
While I have found these facts, I have not found any solid proofs for them. Does anyone there know where I might look further?
Thank you for any information you can give me.
Ruth Hoffman
