Gail,

On the 1910 census in Cicero there is only one Ella b. within 2 years of 1894. She is listed as Ella Orman, age 15, adopted daughter of Elton R. & Emma Orman. Elton is 48 & a farmer. Emma is also age 48 & is listed as having had no children. Elton`s mother Angelia, 68, is also living with the Ormans.

The 1900 census in Cicero shows Manning & Olive Smith with
children Glen,7, Ella, 5, Hobart, 3 & May, 1.

There are quite a few mentions of Ella Andrus in the old newspapers at http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html. They are mostly in the Wolcott Lake Shore News. Also an obit for her husband Leslie Andrus. There are also two social items about Manning Smith`s marriages to Olive Hacket & Rosa Washburn. The first is in the Baldwinsville Gazette & the second in the Syracuse Post-Standard. Search "Ella Andrus" (with the quotes)using the exact phrase search & for "Manning Smith" + Cicero using the all of the words search option.

Pat R.
