Searching for proof of marriage records of Benjamin J. Sweet, b. 3 June 1776, RI and d. 19 February 1862, Blissfield, Lenawee Co., MI, and Lovina Graham b. 7 Apr. 1783, NH and died 18 Jun. 1818, Sodus, Wayne Co., NY.
I believe this couple was married in Washington Co., NY about 1797-98 and were Baptists.
Lovina Graham's parents were Winthrop Graham, who was cited in History of Washington Co., 1878. as a qualified elector of Fort Anne, NY in 1795. Her mother was Rebecca Graham, b. 1760-61, d. 2 Dec. 1845 , Sodus, Wayne Co., NY.
Would also like to have brith/ baptismal records for Benjamin and Lovina Sweet's children who were born in Washington Co., NY. Their first born was Betsy (Elizabeth ?) b. 17 Oct. 1799. Second born was Northrup Sweet, b.19 Feb. 1802 in Cambridge, Washington Co., NY d. 23 February 1881 in Branch County, MI.
