Barrows family living in Galen 1830-1880

I am trying to figure the lineage of Samuel Barrows who is listed with his family on the 1880 Wayne Cnty NY census. I'm told his parents are Amos Barrows and Phebe but have not been able to make a connection to another Barrows family.

Samuel Barrows was born abt 1811 in Wayne County and died in 1884, buried in Maple Grove. He married abt 1842 to Sylvia Wadley, daughter of Amos Wadley, son of Joseph of Watertown. Amos was living in Galen in 1840 with brother Nathaniel Wadley. Amos and family moved to Michigan after 1840 and remarried in 1846 in MI. Last child born in NY was in 1839. I'm assuming his first wife(unknown) died at that time in Wayne county.

I can not find any other Barrows families listed or living in Wayne county NY in 1880 so no luck in making a connection.

I found a listing in an 1869 Galen directory on Samuel's daughter, Estelle Barrows who was a music teacher, but not finding her on the 1880 census so assuming she had married.

I tried to get obituaries on Samuel and Sylvia but have only found death notices in the Clyde Times.

Can anyone help me with a lookup in an 1840-1850 census??
Hoping another Barrows might be listed with the family or in the county that might give me a lead to this lineage.

Somone has suggested he might be a descendant of Joseph Barrows and Ruth Eggleston of Saratoga. They had a son Amos b. in 1793. Ruth's father was Samuel Eggleston of CT.
So far I have not been able to make a solid connection but also I have not found any info on Amos son of Joseph except his name.

Any leads/help greatly appeciated...
