There appear to be a couple different Seths in this information that I have. The one on which there is a good amount of detail is Seth, b. Nov. 24, 1778 in CT (registered in Sharon, CT), d. May 31, 1861 in Marion, NY. He at one point owned a farm with a brother Daniel in Steuben County, NY. He moved to Marion, NY in 1807 and bought a 100 acre farm. Had sons Charles H. (1818), and Daniel (1808), and daugh. Angelina Elizabeth (?). It does not appear that he was married to an Eliza. M.(1) 1/4/1802 to Mary Ann Case, m. (2) 8/19/1848 to a widow, Aner Gillett Angevine (That is how the name is spelled in the book!)
This book is fascinating- it has lots of handwritten notes in it as well as a lot of other surnames. There was someone named Hossley who posted on here who is definitely related to this family, but the email link no longer works. Don't know if this is your Seth, but it is somebody's!
