Thanks so much for the info contained in the book on the churches of Sodus. I think that the William, James, and Joseph mentioned in the book are the sons of the Revolutionary War soldier William who was living in Lyons in Wayne Co NY when (1832) he applied for a pension. At this date I have not figured out who the parents of the Revolutionary War soldier William were.

I wonder if it's possible that my conclusion above was wrong and perhaps the book was referring to the soldier William and two of HIS brothers, James and Joseph.

I'd certainly appreciate your letting me know if you find anything on the Wallings in the book on the school.
