In "The History of Wayne County, New York, 1789-1877" there is a biography written on J.B. Decker. He was born and reared in the town of Wolcott, Wayne County, New York. His mother's name was Isabella Brinkerhoff.

There is a picture of J.B. Decker and Mrs. J.B. (Carrie) Decker along with a picture of their home in Red Creek, Wayne County, NY.

I'm not sure if this is your "Decker" ?

The biography says that J.B.Decker's parents were of Dutch descent and originally from Orange County, New York (before moving to Wolcott).
