I found another family yesterday which looks interesting. John Conklin & Mary Chambers.
Jacob b. 1795 Ulser Co.
Jacob b. 1796 Sulivan Co.
Catherin b. 1798 Marcellus N.Y.
Suannah b. 1800 Cayuga co.
Sarah b. 1803 Cayuga Co.
Cornelius b. 1805 Cayuga Co.
Henry b. 1810 Cayuga Co.
Rachel b. 1811 Cayuga Co.
Do you know where your family went from Wayne Co. mine went to Michigan for awhile then to Illinois for a few years then came to Wisconsin.Williams two sons died here in Oshkosh.One of his sons Seth died in the civil war and is buried in New Orleans. It sure is hard to find a Conklin.The only time I can find William in Wayne Co. is in the 1830 census. He m. Eliza Polhemus from Sodus.
