Found these; MIDDLETOWN, DAILY TIMES-PRESS, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY, 12, 1918. Jeremiah Collins, an old resident of the town of Crawford, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cornelius Carmody, at Stony Ford, Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. He had been in failing health for a year with a complication of diseases, but had only been confined to his bed for three days. The deceased was born in Ireland, the son of Patrick Collins and Mary Lardin and came to this country when a young man, locating in the town of Crawford. He was a very successful farmer, but at the death of his wife, three years ago, he retired from active business and made his home with his daughter, at Stony Ford. Mr. Collins was a hard-working man, who was well known and well liked by everyone who knew him. He accumulated a competence by his industry and was the owner of several farms in the town of Crawford. Of strict integrity and high character, he had gained a name as being one of the best farmers in Orange County. The deceased is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. James Condon, of Walden; Mrs. Cornelius Carmody, of Stony Ford; Mrs. Anthony O'Boyle, of Brooklyn; and John Collins of Warwick. COLLINS - At rest, February 11, 1918, at Stony Ford. Jeremiah Collins. Funeral will be held from the home of his daughter at Stony Ford, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock and in St. Joseph's church this city at 11 o'clock, where solemn requiem high mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul.
