The Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Archives Division just mailed me a copy of Eugene Brown's marriage record. Combining this with the 1900 census record, I've found out the following. Azilda Chase was born in Neversink, Sullivan County, New York in October 1846. Her father was Nathaniel H. Chase, and he was from New Hampshire. Her mother, Harriet was from Maine.
