The 1930 census lists these children for Benson & Josephine Hobart:
Bertha W., 14
Clara E., 12
Lida R., 11
Edith C., 9
Sarah A., 8
Harrison B., 6
Mary E., 5

In 1900 John H. Hobart is in Liberty with wife Viola, Emmet B., 20, Lydia b., 17 & Rosa, 7. This census states John & Viola have been married for 12 years. Have you tried to find a death record in Liberty for Sarah J., John`s first wife? She must have died between 1883 & 1887/88. The record might have her maiden name.
