Afraid I don't have any information but I do have a question for you.

Is there a Milton Armstrong (1812-1872) in your family tree? He was born in NY, by the 1850 Census was living in Milford, Pike county, PA, and by 1860 was living in Bethel, Sullivan county, where he was a farm laborer. He and his wife Eleanor/Ellen (Bonnell, I think) are buried in Old Cemetery (formerly Union Cemetery) in Bethel.

Milton was my husband's g-g-g-grandfather; Milton's daughter, Syrena (1863-1930), married, abt 1885, Eugene D. Van Keuren (1856-1919) of Bethel - my husband's g-g-grandparents.

Other children by Milton & Eleanor were Mary-b abt 1843, George-abt 1845, Adelia-abt 1847, James-abt 1849, Eleanor-abt 1851 [all b in PA] and born in Bethel were James M.-1853, John B.-1858, Mark-1859, and Syrena's twin, Jerome-1863. James, John, and Jerome later lived in Thompson.

I'm not having any luck finding out who Milton's parents were and names of any brothers and sisters. If you or anyone else reading this posting has any info on Milton and his Armstrong clan, I would love to hear from you!
