Corbin Chrisey's parents

Corbin James Chrisey is on the SSDI born 1909 died 1956. He is listed on the 1920 census with his grandmother Cornelia Chrisey. In 1931 he married Marjorie Elizabeth Cutter in NJ and in 1932 they had a son named Ralph Clayton Chrisey. He was probably named for Cornelia's grandson Ralph C Chrisey by her oldest son. I am attempting to find his parents. Cornelia and her husband Alson had four children, two boys William and Alfred and two girls Alice and Laurie. I have found William on the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census and have ruled him out as Corbin's father. However despite Corbin's name being Chrisey which would seem to indicate Alfred was the father I am not sure. On the 1920 census Cornelia indicated Corbin was born in New York, his mother was born in New York but his father was shown as unknown and then changed to USA. It may just be the enumerator did not understand her answer and so wrote unknown but it could also mean one of Cornelia's daughters was the mother and the father was unknown. Maybe I am reading more into this but I would like some proof.
