My father, LeRoy Stratton was born in Thompson Sullivan Co. NY as were his father and mother (Cyrus & Emma Bartley Stratton, and grandfather & grandmother Alby & Mary Jane Howes Stratton). MY grt.grt Grandfather Stephen Stratton came from CT to Thompson. My grandparent's and great grandparents are all buried in Grays Cemetery, now called Fallsburg Historic Cemetery. I am still searching for my Grandmother's parents. Her name was Emma E. Bartley b.NY. Cyrus and Emma's children were: Cora, Lillian, Clarence, Mabel,Leon, Grace and my father LeRoy. He had 2 half bro. Leslie & Chester. My Uncle Leon Stratton lived in Monticello all of his life. My Aunt Lillian married Herbert Barnum and raised a family in that area. Does anyone have any information on these people or that of Emma Bartley's family? It would be greatly appreciated as I have be looking for several years. Cyrus had a match factory and was Postmaster before 1898, Thompsonville, and in New York 143 Reg. Civil War.
Sincerely, Lillian Stratton
