Your answer surprised me but raises a good point for researchers. You have to expect relatives with the same/ similar name in any County/ area.

'My' or so I believe James S. Comfort & wife Mary Ann (McKune) moved to Comfort Pond, Harmony, Susquehanna, PA where they had children from 1831-1856. The latter is also given in the LDS web site which you give, i.e. 74 year old blacksmith at Harmony.

I'm asking my mother who has a copy of Botting's Comfort Genealogy to remind me of the relation.

Thanks again for reminding me of this while I still search for any additional information on 'my' James S. and wife of Sullivan Co.
