Historian for Eastport?

Jackie,

Here the local library may be of help because, as a hamlet and not a village, if there was an historian, there would be an unofficial, volunteer historian, and not an "official historian".

Because Eastport is partly in the Town of Brookhaven and partly in the Town of Southampton, you would then want to check with each of these Town's Town Historian.

Regards, and Happy Tu B'Shvat*,

* TOO bish-VAHT = Fifteenth day of the month of Shvat

The one-day rabbinic Festival of Tu B'Shvat, the Jewish Arbor Day celebrating the New Year for trees, begins at sundown on Sunday, February 8 on the civil calendar.
