I've found two mentions of a Nehemiah Vail living in Southold, Suffolk Co. NY. The first Nehemiah Veal is listed in the Southold Militia in 1715. The second spelled Nehemiah Vale is in the death records of the Salmon Records . His son Henry died in 1724.. Does anyone have info on either of these Nehemiah's? I believe he may be the father of my 5th great grandfather Nehemiah Vail b abt 1719.
