Verspoor Family

Is anyone in Islip or Sayville familiar with the Verspore/Vespoor families who resided there during the mid to late 1800's and through the 1900's?
I have a relative, Angelia Drain, who was married to a Vespoor about 1870 time frame, but cannot locate either of them on census records. They had a son Leonard Marinus Vespoor and a probably daughter Ida H Vespoor. I know that Angelia was still living in Sayville as late as 1895 when her mothers estate was settled, but I cannot find anything on this family.
Any help will be appreiated.
