Seeking information on Oliver N. Miles, Sr., born 1800 NY. Would like to find out his parent's names and if he had any siblings. First trace of family is in Delaware County, New York in early 1800's. They moved to Steuben County, NY in 1830's and lived in Steuben County, NY and Tioga County and Potter County, Pennsylvania. Some moved onto Montcalm,Michigan area. It's thought they may have come to NY from Canada at some point. Oliver N. Miles, Sr. married Elizabeth "Patty" Tucker in 1822 and Sarah Ann Moore about 1850-1851. Also, possibly married to an Evalina Tuttle. Oliver N. Miles, Sr. died in 1881 in Montcalm, Michigan. He and his wife, Sarah, were living with his son, Oliver N. Miles, Jr. when he died. Sarah returned to Steuben County, NY after his death and lived with her daughter, Sarah Ann Miles Root until her death in 1906. Have reached a dead end on finding Oliver N. Miles, Sr.'s parents. Any information would be appreciated.
