Hi Robert,I have Daniel Hotalen being born Oct, 1, 1868 in Waverly, NY and died in 1919. I don't have anything on descendants but I have parents Mordecai Myers Hotalen b. 06/25/1830 in Sussex County NJ. and d.07/30/1916 buried in Hope cemetery, Corning. Daniel's mother being Margaret Jane Hoover b. 10/28/1836 in Pike county, PA. and d.1933. They were married 1856 near Towanda, PA. According to an aunt of mine, Margaret Jane Hoover was a cousin to President Hoover. Daniel had many siblings one of which was Julia Lott Hotalen, my great-grandmother.
