Does anyone have any info on Pitts in Steuben County, New York? In 1860, there were 3 Pitts living in the town of Caton. They were all living on the farm of John J. Cooper (1822-1896). One was his wife, Sarah E. Pitts Cooper (1837-1896), the other was John W. Pitts (b. ~1842) and last was Harriet Pitts Woodard (b. ~1833) with her son Charles N. Woodard.
Both John J. and Sarah E. are buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Caton, but I do not have any other information on the rest. I am particularly interested in finding more information on Harriet Pitts Woodard, but would welcome any info on this line. Thanks.
