Hi! I just found your posting from 7 years ago. I'm not even sure that you check this. I'm married to Doug Havens son on Charles Havens son of Ida Mae Havens daughter of George Christjohn. I'm very interested in more information if you have any. We're very interested in finding out about letters George Christjohn wrote concerning his involvement in Sherman's "March to the Sea" (he was in 141st New York Infantry)during the Civil War. Could you help me or direct me to a great place to find out information. Have you heard about these letters? None of my family has even seen them, but have only heard about it from Ida Mae Havens. Supposedly, the letters went to the oldest of Ida May's children and they have been lost. Just wondering about any and all things.
