I have a George Clark that fits your search. My ggrandfather (Charles) had a son George b about 1868. I think the same George Clark was still in Monterey in 1910 and a son living with him named Herman, No spouse listed in this census. His age at 1910 was listed as 55 and Herman @ 16.

Hope this helps.

I've just started my Clark history but have more info on George and his parents & siblings if this indeed is your George.
