Daniels/De Noyelles? 1824

I'm looking for information on David G Daniels b 1824, found in the 1850 census of Orangetown living at a hotel with his wife Mary b 1826 and children Mary 4 and Clarence 2. From other sources I know David's middle name is Greene and also listed just before this family is Henry Greene b 1822. David is a painter and Henry a carpenter. All the Daniel's are b RI, Henry Greene in NY in this census. Later census show both Mary's b RI, Clarence CT, and David either MA or NY.
I really need to find the answers about this family.

Thanks, Betsey
