Hi, I know this is an old posting, but I'm trying to identify a David G Daniels b 1824 =/- who is listed in the 1850 census for Orangetown, Rockland Co. I cannot find him in any NEHGS database in spite of his listing as being b RI (later census say b NY). He is a painter with wife Mary E and dau Mary E. Could Daniels be a misspelling of De Noyelles? What do you think? This David G had another dau Louise, b NY 1852 and s Clarence b CT 1850.
Betsey
