Dear Kathy: How great is the power of the computer! We never would have made a connection if I hadn't been doing some research for my husband who is a local historian. You've helped put a few more pieces of the family puzzle together for me--We were in Thomaston, Me. last summer and I had always thought that Capt. David Everett came from Rockland, Me. When doing some family research, a cousin of my mother's sent me what she had about the Everett family and I learned they came from Thomaston. Now I know that they went from Me. to Brooklyn and eventually to Pearl River. I know that Clementine Fales died on 5/1/1901 and David B. died on 10/26/1906. I see that Clementine had a daughter named Sarah(who must have been named after your husband's relative--Clementine's sister). I have more info. about the Everett branch of the family who settled in Pearl River. It's funny because when I looked again I saw that my grandfather Everett Cordukes' sister(Daisy) was actually named Margaret Alice(my name)--it gets confusing because they all used family names over and over. My email is: I have one sister, Linda. I can't wait to share all this info. with her and my mom. Thanks so much. Regards, Margaret
