Michael McCleary family - Troy, NY about 1830's
Posted by: Robert Chamberlain (ID *****8924) Date: June 27, 2010 at 00:00:33

Michael Troy McCleary was reported born about March 18th 1837 in Troy but we can't find him in any New York records. He left New York in the 1850's to move west where we have records for him from 1860 and later but we are still looking for him, as well as his parents, in NY.

Both his parents were born in Ireland. His father was reported to be named "Michael" and his mother's maiden name is unreadable on one document we have but looks something like "Einxrusun" (we can't even guess what it is actually supposed to be). We would love to find a birth/baptism record for him and more about his parents and any siblings.

Thanks for any help! rwcdsc@yahoo.com
