Oh My Goodness Robin what a great thing you are doing, putting these letters up to be read. My ancestors in Otego, Otsego co., are the Bundy/French line. I must go look up Granville and Stephen Bundy, but am not sure either are in my direct line. However I have done lots of research on the lines. This Whitfield Chase was certainly a letter writer of note, he was philosophical, energetic and his friends and family must have loved getting letters from him. And here you are in 2008 still enjoying them and sharing them with us all.
