I am looking for connections to the Story family of Schoharie County, New York. Since Schoharie County was formed from Otsego and Albany Counties in 1795, I strongly suspect that the Melancton Story (B. abt.1790)of Summit Township had origins in neighboring Otsego county. I have found on 1790 census there were three Story heads of households listed: Behjamin, Oliver and Samuel. I would like to hear from anyone who can connect or disconnect Melancton from any of these individuals
