Lewis Wellman kept a journal of some of the men that worked on his farm from 1894 - 1898 in Colliersville, Otsego, NY. I’ve listed them here – in case it might be of interest to anyone searching for an ancestor. Each day was marked as "1 day worked", then a total amount paid to them. Some did not show as much information as others. (Lewis grew hops and had a large sugar bush). Rob Baker Mar 6 – Apr 21 1894 $33.25 for 42 days work March 6 bought for Rob Baker 1 pair of boots $3.35 Albert Yager Apr 30, 1894 – Jan 1895 Benoni (Demings ?)
