OTSEGO CO: Butternuts, Pittsfield, Laurens & Morris

Need to find information regarding my ancestors JESSE D. BUTTS and LUCINDA P. FURBUSH.

Jesse was born in 1821/22 in Butternuts. His parents a believed to be Elijah Butts and Rebecca Dunbar. Elijah & Rebecca are buried in the Old Church Burying Ground in Morris.

Jesse & Lucinda were married in November of 1840 in Pittsfield. Jesse was not of legal age and must have required his father's permission to marry in those days.

Lucinda was born 12/29/1815 in NY. She was related to a John Furbush who moved to IA, the the exact relationship is unknown. Possible relatives in the Morris area were Clark Furbush who was a blacksmith and Linda Furbush (maiden name unknown) who at age 78 liived down the street from Norris & Polly Butts in 1860. It's possible Norris was the brother of Jesse . . .

If you have information regarding existing records that I can access via the Internet, I'd greatly appreciate the assistance as I live in Arizona and have no plans to be in that area so that I can physically look through records.

Any thoughts or constructive advice is most welcome.
