Mehitable Gibbs

In an 1819 document from the Town of Otsego Court of Common Pleas/Court of Sessions, Otsego County, Mehitable Gibbs gave a depostion as to the last place of her legal settlement. In this paper, it states that one of her sons, John D. Gibbs 14, lived with John Patten. Another, James 12, lived with John Bowen, while yet another Benjamin 10, lived with Mr. Page. Because of their mothers poverty, I believe the children may have been apprenticed out. I am looking for any information of the families these children were placed into. Thank you.
