I am researching the Hodge/ Chappel line. Joseph Hodge (born in 1781) married Lydia Chappel in the early 1800's. The info I have says that they came from the NY/Vermont area and settled in Otsego county. One census stated that they were born in Vermont. Can anybody contribute more info?
