Thank you so much for your reply.
My information on John Tracy and Truman A. Southworth (and their sister, Lucy Jane) comes from several sources including the Converse Family Genealogy by Charles Converse. Their Mother was Elizabeth Jane Converse daughter of Rufus and Betsey Posthill Converse. I have much info on the Converse family (They were one of the founding families in Woburn Massachusetts.) Truman A. and John Tracy (and their wives) are buried in the Coventry NY Cemetary, as are their father Truman Southworth and Elizabeth Jane Converse. I have not seen the original will of Sylvanus and have only seen a son named "Truman" listed occasionally. The other sons listed were Schyler and Tracy, hence my theory that my John Tracy may have been named for the brother. I have written to several sources in Otsego County without response ... so I am at the point of frustration. I know that Truman existed but where did he come from? Any assistance you can provide is and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.
