John Bisbee Thompson, son of Calvin and Unknown Thompson was born Otsego County in 1807 and died in Cattaraugus County in 1859. His brother Silas was born in Washington County in 1806 and died in 1867 in Cattaraugus County. There is also another brother, Hiram, born in an unknown location. Calvin was born about 1744 and died about 1850-60 in Erie County, NY. Think they were in Erie County by 1840.
Calvin may have come from the Johnstown, Fulton County, NY. Other family names are his brother Barzilla and the names Delos(s), Bisbee, and Hewitt which were passed down.
Looking for any information on any of this family, particularly Calvin's wife's name. Have info on John and Silas from 1850 onward.
The names Barzilla and Delos have been found in Unadilla but I don't have dates yet.
