Karin,
Aaron m Mary Abigail Shelley on April 13, 1843.
She was born Dec 28, 1822 and is listed as died April 30, 1898.As I mentioned I don't know any details.
Mary's parents Hartwell and Wealthy McArthur Shelley were in Chautauqua Co, NY by 1850 with most of the children. 2 boys were in NYC
and 2 girls married and living in IL. Wealthy Maria married Oliver Palmer Mead in 1839 in NY and Emeline married Jerome Thompson Davis in 1851 in IL.
I have no info on children of Mary Abigail and Aaron.
I seem to remember Aaron G being maried to a woman named Harriet (from census records).
I know a Rev. Mr Halstead performed Aaron and Mary's wedding. This is from a newsclipping found in cooperstown early in my research.
I guess there should be Browns, Shelleys, Davis and Meades in the area during the 40's to get these girls married off.
