thanks for your information. I have also placed a message on the Sunapee, NH forum because after he was born in Otsego, NY the family must have moved and lived in Sunapee, NH because he was married there and all 6 children were born there. His first born's name was Frank Herbert, then Fred William,
Lucia Olivia, Emma Louise, Josephine (my ggrandmother)and Mary E.(who died at 1 yr).
My ggrandmother, Josephine, was an opera singer who sang at the Metropolitan opera. Her son, Allen, sang with Caruso in Paris, 1920. Interesting eh? I just reconnected with my first cousin who is my mother's only sister's son. He said that his mother told him that there was some blackfoot indian in the family...I haven't found any so far.
