Thank you for responding. I do not have Mary's maiden name. I do know my father La Verne Roland Jackson and his older brother Winfield were both born in Cooperstown. My father on April 18, 1909. Additional information is that his father Carey M. Jackson was born on Jan. 10, 1879 in Cooperstown, was married to Gertrude M. Davis in Cooperstown??? in 1907 Carey M. is the son of James A. & Mary l. Cary. Both Mary L. and James A. are buried in the same cemetery that James Fenimore is buried. The name Jackson is on the front side of a medium size standing monument and the name Every is on the back side. James A. had purchased land on Lake St. and also land under water(in case lake dropped??? and he had an ice business in Cooperstown. that is all I know at this writing. I appreciate any findings that you may care to share with me. My parents separated in 1941 and I have next to nothing else in the way of information about my father and his family.
