I'm researching my family line and am interesting if anyone knows anything about a Joshua C(G?) Cary. Not sure on the middle initial. He was first married to a Lucy Whiston of Massachusetts. They had three children Levi, Lewis, and Esther. Lucy died in 1854 on a trip visiting their sons in WI. Joshua then married a Lovisa Butts in 1855. They had a daughter Lucy LeElla. Lucy married a Dennis Aldrich.
I know they lived in Otsego County NY. I know Joshua and Lucy are burried at Mt. Vision Cemetery, Laurens, Otsego County NY. I know Lovisa is buried in Harmony Church/Old Church Burying Grounds in Morris, Otsego County NY.
I would like some more information on Joshua. His parents may be John Cary and Minnie Weldon(Waldon?) He may have been born in Albany, NY. (not sure on that either).
I'm also interested in finding more information on Joshua's daughter Esther. I know a lot about Levi and Lewis, but not much on Esther. All I know is she may have been born in 1833, she married John See and they had a daughter named Sattie who married an Albert Straight.
If you have any information whether it be births, marriages, deaths, deeds, etc.. please let me know.
