Daniel, There is a brief obit for Mary Flagg of Morris in the Nov. 4th edition of the Otsego Farmer. She was the wife of Orson Flagg. There is also a 1926 obit for her son Orson in the Farmer. You can see those at this site: http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html I searched for "Mary Flagg" +Morris using the all of the words search option. On the 1900 census in Morris, Mary & grandau. Mabel E. Flagg (age 16) are living in the same home as Orson Flagg, 37 & his wife Mary. They are listed as separate families with both Orson & Mary Flagg designated as head of household. On the 1870 census in Morris Orson & Mary Flagg (indexed as Felagg) have a 14 year old son Edwin, b. Mass., as well a Elizabeth, 11 & Orson, 9. In 1880 Orson, 59, & Mary, 44, are still in Morris, though Edwin is not with them. Mary`s mother Mary Riley, 87, b. Ireland is living with them. The 1860 census in Morris shows Orson Flagg, 36, in the home of James & Eliza Flagg. Mary Flagg with her three children, Elizabeth, Edward & Orson are in Boston, Mass. in the home of Elizabeth Riley, age 62, possibly the Mary of the 1880 census. Hope this is some help to you. Pat R.
