There is only one Sarah Green b. +/- 2 yrs of 1850 on census records in Otsego Co. from 1850-1870. In 1850 she is in Morris, age 0, in 1860 in Cooperstown, age 10 & in 1970 in Middlefield, age 20. On all these records she is with John S. & Polly/Mary Green. On the 1850 & 1860 records John S. is born Connecticut; the 1870 says NY. Polly is born NY on all three records. This Sarah may be the woman who is Russell Smith`s wife on the 1900 census which I assume you`ve seen. In 1910 Russell is in Middlefield, widowed, living with a son, Charles. Sarah died sometime between the 1900 census & the 1910. If you check with the town clerks where Sarah & Russell lived chances are you`ll find a marriage and/or a death record. Both may have her parents names.
