I am looking for information on a Stephen Dennison and family. He was born 8/3/1924 in Machias ME died 9/15/1893 and married 3/15/1848 Keziah Turner b 2/10/1827 in England d 11/9/1884. Stephen was a whaler in Maine, and fished in the Hudson for a living after moving to New York. They had children: Drucilla "Ella" Dennison b 1848 married Charles Benson Oakley and lived at Jones Point, Nancy Dennison b 1850 d 1850, Virginia Dennison b 1852 d 1891 married Thomas Wakenfield, Sophia Dennison b 1854 d 1892 m James Wilson, Jesse Dennison b 1858 d 1860, Jessie Dennison b 1862 m ____MacEnany and Charles Dennison b 1864 d 1892. I know nothing of the descendants of this family other than the Oakleys, who are in my ancestral line. I do, however, have a family photograph of Stephen, Keziah and their living children. Any information on these Dennisons would be greatly appreciated.
