Two fellow researchers and I are looking for anyone who might have a family connection to 3 Davis families who moved to Orange county in the late 1800s to early 1900s. We've started an e-mail newsletter, the March 2009 issue has information on these families, it can be found on our RootsWeb Freepage at -
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~traces/.
All 3 families have roots in Ulster County and we believe they might all be related. We would very much like to hear from anyone who thinks they might have a family connection. Or, if you think you know someone who might be related please pass on the link to our newsletter. We would like to prove, or disprove their connection.
As well, anyone interested in the genealogy of Davis families with roots in Ulster County and vicinity might find our newsletter of interest, we welcome new readers (it's free). Thanks, Richard
