I seek Robert Hastings, who was born in northern Ireland in about 1806, married a Sarah King, born in NY or VT, in about 1816. They lived in Canandaigua township for around 20 years, ending in about 1856, when they went to Wisconsin. Their children include
•Mary Jane Hastings born 1834, married Garrett Briggs 28 May 1857 in Platteville, Wisconsin, died 21 May 1916
• Hannah Hastings born 1835, disappears after 1850 census
• Susan Hastings born 1838 disappears after 1850 census
• Robert Emmet born in 1839 and died 21 Oct 1925 in Olmsted, Minnesota,
• James D. Hastings born 28 July 1842 and died 12 May 1919 in Hennepin, Minnesota
• Sarah Hastings born 1844 –disappears after 1860 census
• Frank Hastings born 1848, married Ida Perry August 30, 1873 in Byron, Olmsted, Minnesota, married again Lizzie Huggard not sure when but they are living in Spokane in 1900, and then Douglas, Oregon, and I have not found where or when he died.
• Seth born in 1845 who enlisted in the Union Army in Verona, Dane, Wisconsin and died in Cairo, Illinois on March 9, 1862
• Margaret A. Hastings born 22 June 1850, died March 11, 1923, Lake Benton, Lincoln, Minnesota. Married Asa Wallace Little July 21, 1876 in Byron, Olmsted, Minnesota
• Mortica or Mordicai Hastings born 1852 Ontario, New York, married Belle or Sarah Belle Burgess,
• Ellen May Hastings born July 26, 1856 Ontario New York, died December 3, 1881 in Byron, Olmsted, Minnesota, married Amon E. Morrill, had two sons.
• Hugh Hastings born 1857 in Wisconsin and disappears after 1860 census
• Francis or Frances (Fannie or Fanny) E. Hastings born June 1860 Wisconsin, Married Valentine B. Harris, the last I see of her is in Spokane in 1930. Valentine died in Spokane in 1946; I have not found her.
