I am seeking information on two WOODHULLS from Ontario (aft. 1823, Yates) County, New York: 1) Tompkins WOODHULL Tompkins was listed on the following US Federal Census: 1810 (Benton, Ontario Co., NY) Tompkins WOODHULL appears in the History of Yates County by Stafford C. Cleveland, Vol. 1, Pub. 1873: "... he (Robert M. Boyd) moved to Hopeton, where (in 1804) he married Rebecca, daughter of Tompkins Woodhull, one of the earliest settlers of East Benton." 2) Benjamin WOODHULL b-Prob. abt. 1790 d-Prob. bet. 1850-1855 Benjamin was listed on the following US Federal Census': - 1820 (Benton, Ontario Co., NY) - 1830 (Benton, Yates Co., NY) - 1850 (Jerusalem, Yates Co., NY I am wondering if the above-mentioned Benjamin WOODHULL might have been the son of Tompkins WOODHULL. (As yet I haven't found anything to corroborate this.) Would appreciate any additional information on the above-mentioned Tompkins WOODHULL and/or Benjamin WOODHULL.
