I am hoping someone can assist me.
If someone has a cemetery index or cemetery books or access to cemetery records, I would appreciate a look-up.
My GGGG-GF, Robert B. AMES (EAMES) died in Jan 1813, in Livonia, Ontario County, NY.
This area of Ontario Co, NY is now located in Livingston Co,NY.
However, we do not know WHERE he was buried.He COULD be buried in a cemetery in Ontario County,NY.
We have looked through the various available online listings and the only Ames found was in the Finger Lakes Regional Cemetery Index :
* AMES Aldrich Cemetery located in Phelps,Ontario County, NY on page 1
(Does anyone know this Ames?)
Robert AMES was possibly born in Voluntown, New London, CT abt 1768. This has not been confirmed.
Hopefully, a tombstone inscription will have his date of birth and cemetery records could give us some clues as to his place of birth.

His widow was Elizabeth Mosher (Moshier,Mosier or other spellings).
-possibly buried near/with extended family
-Elizabeth Mosher Ames married widower, Ira Bigelow in 1815
Robert AMES had an estate probated in 1828 in Livingston County, New York.
I appreciate any information OR suggestions on locating where Robert Ames was buried.
