Thank you for the posting. As far as I know, the Kentucky Benoni is not related. As of now, we have only been able to confirm one male line from Benony, the Revolutionary soldier. Benony had at least one son, named John, who married Nancy Hayes. In turn, John had at least one son, my great grandfather, Benoni II, married to Mary Smith. He was born 1824 and died 1911. All descendants from there on down are accounted for and lived primarily in Ohio and Wisconsin.
We are now learning that Benony may have had one or two other sons and there is a possibility that John had another son as well. Also, we are in the dark about Benony's immediate kin, e.g. parents or any brother. We do know he had a sister Margaret. a number of us, who are descendants of Benony, are researching these unknowns at the moment which may shed light on your posting. Personally I have not run into any other Benoni Reynolds, except within my own family. The latest Is Benoni V, who lives in Colorado Springs. Thanks for your interest. Ben Reynolds
