Emma L. Walker, 83, of 7478 Hayes Rd., Baldwinsville, died Wednesday at
Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Walker was born in Watertown and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Walker; four sons, Lionel Walker of Camillus,
James Walker of Syracuse, and Richard and Michael Walker of Baldwinsville; four
daughters, Delores Petrini of Baldwinsville, Shirley Portelli of Verona Beach, Nancy
Jenner of Fulton, and Diana Walker of Central Square; one sister, Florence Call of
Watertown; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Gates Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee St.,
Baldwinsville and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Syracuse Street.
Spring burial wil be in Jacksonville Cemetery in Lysander.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Edward Walker, 86, of 7478 Hayes Road, Baldwinsville, who died Sunday at
Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gates Funeral
Home and 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, both in Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Jacksonville
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 29 W. Genesee St.
A native of Black River, Mr. Walker lived most of his life in Baldwinsville. He retired as a
painter from the Syracuse Hotel Country House.
Surviving are four sons, Lionel of Camillus, Richard and Michael, both of Baldwinsville, and
James of Syracuse; four daughters, Dolores Petrini of Baldwinsville, Shirley Portelli of
Verona Beach, Nancy Jenner of Fulton and Diana Walker of Central Square; 22 grandchildren;
and several great-grandchildren.
