I FOUND THEM! There they were on the North side of the cemetery, on the second driveway coming from the West. about 1-2 plots in from the main road. They were indeed in the newer section, Pine Plains Cemetery, Kirkville, N.Y. It is in Madison county.. If we had looked across that driveway we would have seen them when we were there before.. The stones are :
1.Large one KEEL William J. 1877-1957 Jennie Spence 1878-1956. Both of these names are on the same stone.
Behind this large stone situated Left-right are 5 uniform stones with the following information.
2. Anna Bell Keel 1873-1940
3. Edith Keel Spencer 1883-1942
4. Bert Spencer Batt. D 5th U.S.F.A. 1886-1938
5. Daniel A. Keel 1919-1938
6. Donald Keel 1904-1929
The stones have a good deal of lichen/moss on them, I can try to get a photo if you'd like, but I was passing by, and thought on spur of the minute I'd look again. Next time I'll take my camera if you'd like.
One strange coincidence, I am researching my "Bell" family tree & was wondering about the Anna Bell Keel stone. does your relative know if Bell was Anna's maiden name or a middle name?
hope this information helps in your research!
